I saw a cool little command today so I will just post it here for my memory.
%windir%\system32\inetsrv\appcmd list apppool
%windir%\system32\inetsrv\appcmd list apppool APPPOOLNAMEHERE /text:*
Doing this allowed me to see the long forgotten password of the service accounts used to install systems by people long departed. There are lots of other cool bits of info there as well.
Oh, this was on Windows Server 2008 R2.
